About the WSVMA
The Washington State Veterinary Medical Association is a statewide not-for-profit organization for the benefit of veterinary medicine, with a membership of over 1,600 veterinarians and veterinary students, representing a broad spectrum of veterinary practice.
Mission Statement: The Washington State Veterinary Medical Association creates a strong practice community that provides education, representation and the sharing of ideas dedicated to improving member success as well as animal and human health.
Executive Board & Officers - The Executive Board and Officers are the governing body of the WSVMA. The board consists of representatives from each local association as well as non-voting representatives from other governmental avenues. The Officers preside over the Executive Board and consist of a President, President-Elect, 1st Vice President and Past President. Meet your current WSVMA Leadership.
Committees - The Committees run various parts of the WSVMA's activities. Also, these committees help make decisions and bring reports back to the Executive Board.
Local Associations - The State of Washington is split into 14 different local regions. Each local region has a Veterinary Medical Association of its own. Each association sends a representative to the Executive Board.
WSVMA By-Laws - The By-Laws govern the WSVMA is all its action. Different topics include how to elect a new officer, term limits and other useful rules for members.
WSVMA Member Benefits - The Member benefits are available to any member of the WSVMA. These include discounts partners, programs and WSVMA publications.
